Keith Cowing is a visiting lecturer at Cornell Tech and CEO of Ruby, a startup focused on helping seniors stay safe and healthy in their homes. Prior to Ruby, he was vice president of product management at Flatiron Health, which was acquired by Roche for $2.1B. Professor Cowing enjoys teaching and coaching and publishes a blog at KeithonCareers.com.

Before joining Flatiron, Professor Cowing was a product manager at Twitter, LinkedIn, and Goldman Sachs. He was also the founder and CEO of Seamless Receipts, which was acquired by Sailthru. Professor Cowing received an MBA with distinction in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Science cum laude in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.

Josh Hartmann is the Chief Practice Officer of Cornell Tech. He leads efforts to establish the culture and programs of Cornell Tech, including studio-based education, product development and startup activities, and student engagement with organizations and practitioners. Mr. Hartmann has spent his career building and leading teams in the New York technology community. Prior to joining Cornell Tech, he was COO of Plusgrade, a technology company serving the airline industry; CTO of Amplify; CTO of Intent Media; and CTO of Travelocity. Mr. Hartmann received an S.B. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994.

As CTO of Flatiron Health, Cat Miller leads an organization of over 400 technologists, working to reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care. A software and data engineer by training, Ms. Miller has over a decade of experience in data-focused startups and nine years growing an engineering team at Flatiron, through acquisition and beyond. She lives in NYC where she tries and fails to see every play that hits a Broadway stage.

Scott Belsky is an entrepreneur, author, early-stage seed investor, and now serves as Adobe’s Chief Strategy Officer and EVP of Design & Emerging Products after five years overseeing product for Creative Cloud. Scott’s passion is to make the creative world more productive, connected, and adaptive to new technologies. He founded Behance, the leading online platform for over 40 million professionals in the creative industry to showcase and discover creative work, and served as CEO until Adobe acquired Behance in 2012.

Scott actively advises and invests in businesses that cross the intersection of technology and design, and help empower people. He is an early advisor and investor in Pinterest, Uber, Carta, sweetgreen, Ramp, Flexport as well as several others in the early stages.

Through his work as a founder and investor, Scott has become an advocate for technology and community initiatives that empower creative people and help businesses leverage the creative potential of their people. He is the author of two national bestselling books, Making Ideas Happen and The Messy Middle, and Scott founded 99U, a publication and annual conference devoted to productivity in the creative world.

Nikita Miller serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Product Management at The Knot Worldwide. In this role, she leads the global Product Management team, focusing on product strategy and growth across all brands.

Ms. Miller has spent her career in product management building great teams and creating products that users love. Most recently, she was VP of Product at Dooly, and prior to that she led product teams at Trello and Atlassian for five years. Ms. Miller’s experience ranges from early-stage startups to multinational companies and from edtech to Enterprise SaaS. She is also an active startup advisor, angel investor, and board member. 

Ms. Miller received her Bachelor’s from Cornell University, studied at the London School of Economics, and earned her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. She lives in upstate New York with her family.

As a product executive with over 15 years of overseeing global teams, Mamuna Oladipo has diverse experience leading product management, product marketing, product design, and strategy development in the B2B and B2C markets. She has demonstrated success in building and executing strategic plans for product organizations that generate growth and transform user experiences. Ms. Oladipo is currently the Vice President of Product at Shopify, where she drives product vision and strategy to ensure the constant delivery of value to merchants globally

Prior to her role at Shopify, Ms. Oladipo was the SVP of Product, Design, and Engineering at Kickstarter; the VP of Product at SeamlessDocs; and VP of Product Marketing and Design at The Orchard, a division of Sony Music. She built the product marketing and product design teams from the ground up, formalizing go-to-market strategies across functions. Ms. Oladipo earned her MBA from the University of Maryland while working full time for Bloomberg Government, where she not only gained her product foundation but played an integral role in building out the new Bloomberg vertical company.

With a deep focus on the client journey, Ms. Oladipo prides herself on aligning organizations to a vision and is passionate about building products that provide compelling and delightful experiences for users.

Dan Van Tran (DVT) is the Chief Technology Officer of Collectors Holdings, the leading authenticator and grader of collectibles. Since the company’s acquisition for $850 million in 2021, DVT and the new product and tech leadership team have been building solutions that combine machine learning, robotics, and microservices to help collectors maximize the value of their collections. In recent years, Collectors has built an auction and marketplace platform, an “Ocean’s Eleven”-style vault, and a collection management tool complete with ML-generated price estimations, leading to a valuation increase to $4.3 billion.

DVT began his journey to Collectors by developing Zenauction, which was silently acquired by Goldin, the world’s leading marketplace for high-end collectibles, which was then acquired by Collectors. Prior to that, he spent over five years leading the interoperability strategy and scaling a cross-functional technical organization as the Senior Director of Clinical Engineering at Flatiron Health. In his free time, DVT enjoys collecting modern basketball cards, survival horror video games, and Alex Morgan cards.
