One of the top five most-cited researchers in NLP with over 230,000 citations, Richard previously served as Chief Scientist and EVP at Salesforce after the company acquired his first AI company, MetaMind, in 2016. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford, where he also served as an adjunct professor in Computer Science.
