Upstate New York has emerged as a hotspot for these breakthroughs, with the annual Grow-NY Food & Agriculture Startup Competition attracting exciting new ventures to the region.
In seven years of competition, Grow-NY has received over 2,000 applications from innovative, high-growth food and agriculture startups competing for $3 million in prize money. Of this year’s 20 finalists, seven emerged as winners and must now make a positive economic impact here in Upstate New York.
