Our panel will offer strategies for weaving stronger sustainability practices into organizational culture and explain how thoughtful buying decisions can support community well‑being while enhancing guest relationships. The conversation will also explore how storytelling — such as sharing product origins and engaging consumers around common values — can boost revenue and build lasting brand loyalty.

Speakers
JoAnna Abrams is the founder and CEO of MindClick, a supply chain data and analytics company dedicated to advancing positive environmental and social impact in the global hospitality industry.
MindClick provides ratings and analytics for more than 150,000 products from hundreds of manufacturers, helping leading hospitality brands, operators, and owners track and optimize supply chain impact. Its insights guide brand standards, design specifications, and purchasing decisions in support of net-zero carbon emissions, healthy interiors, circularity and waste reduction, and social responsibility.
A frequent speaker on climate risk, sustainability, supply chain, and the power of ratings to accelerate change, JoAnna has been recognized by the UNWTO as a leading voice in sustainable tourism and serves as an advisor to the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance’s Supply Chain Task Force. She has been named a Top 100 Leader in Environment + Energy, an IMAGINE Leader, and was recently accepted into the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) Canopy and BSI’s Accelerator Programme: Trust in Sustainability for startups and scaleups. JoAnna has been honored as a hospitality industry innovator by Lodging Magazine, recognized by Wharton’s Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership, and contributed to Cornell’s Hospitality Research Summit.
Combining more than 15 years of sustainability expertise in supply chain with 20 years in brand management, technology, data analytics, and finance, JoAnna pioneered the approach to greening the supply chain with Marriott International. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois.
Lisa Chervinsky is a lecturer at Cornell’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration, teaching courses in hotel development, planning, and design. As a licensed architect and former Hotelie, Lisa’s in-depth understanding of the business of hospitality and creative vision not only inspire but help students develop the skills to accomplish their career goals.
Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Lisa has developed iconic and award-winning hospitality spaces for both branded and boutique operators in the U.S. and abroad, leading teams from initial conception through construction. She believes that innovative thinking and effective working methods are critical to enable organizations to sustain healthy environments, profitability, and a strong work-life balance for all employees. Lisa operates her firm, Collective Vision Design, Ltd, based on this model.
Jen Collins, co‑founder and president of Procure Impact, is a purpose‑driven leader with a record of success in both for‑profit and nonprofit organizations across diverse sectors such as real estate, hospitality, social impact, education, humanitarian work, and wellness. A former Division I athlete, she has an entrepreneurial spirit with a bias toward action as well as leadership expertise in strategy, operations, culture, communications, change management, and strategic alliances and partnerships.
Prior to joining Procure Impact, Jen served as Head of Enterprise Operations at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the largest community development financial institution in the United States, advancing economic development with a particular focus on communities of color. She joined LISC from Georgetown University’s Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation, where she led its Inclusive Community Impact Investing initiatives.
Jen has worked extensively on strategies to deploy capital to low‑income communities and has advised the White House, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, members of Congress, the IRS/Treasury Department, and the Small Business Administration. She founded the Beeck Center Investor Council, a cohort of investors, developers, and fund managers supporting community impact, and participated in the Center’s Fair Finance initiative, which examined structural inequities in the financial system. Earlier in her career, Jen spent nearly two decades in real estate, leading asset management and private equity strategies for hospitality portfolios, including oversight of development plans, investment strategies, and talent recruitment.
Jen is engaged in youth empowerment initiatives in East Africa, working to expand educational opportunities in rural communities through holistic community development. A certified yoga and mindfulness instructor, she co‑founded a community program in the Anacostia neighborhood of Washington, D.C. In 2015, Jen launched Awake Mindfulness, a company that brings mindfulness practices into corporate settings.
