As SVP of Strategic Accounts at Dataminr, she is part of the leadership team that is accelerating growth at one of the leading companies in AI and machine learning technology. Ms. Cheney was previously the global head of sales and business development for Bloomberg Vault, an SaaS compliance data solution that she co-launched and grew to a profitable business. She was also part of the startup team at Bloomberg Law, which is used in 99% of the AmLaw 100. As a certified executive coach, Ms. Cheney enjoys working with entrepreneurs on sales. She is a guest speaker at Cornell Tech, where she teaches a class on sales for new venture business. Ms. Cheney has an MBA from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University and a B.A. from Bucknell University, where she double-majored in Economics and English, and minored in Dance. She holds a professional coaching certification from IPEC.

Most recently, Tim was the CEO of Battery Ventures-backed Boost Media and is now the CRO of Upwave, keeping an eye on evolving top- and bottom-line metrics adhering to best-in-class SaaS business structure.
