Entrepreneurship dreams often leave business owners on a quest for funding. The inaugural Grow-NY business competition attracted nearly 200 innovative, high-growth food and agriculture startups from across the globe to compete for $3 million dollars in prizes. Seventeen finalists stepped up to the challenge and pitched business plans in front of a live audience— seven walked away as winners, including three businesses with Cornell ties. Find out what is was like for these finalists to apply, prepare, compete—and ultimately, secure that sought-after funding at the Grow-NY Food and Ag Summit.
