Finding the right talent for the job has always been a high priority for any business — perhaps now more than ever. A growing number of companies are designing and implementing affirmative hiring programs to recruit individuals who are neurodivergent, including those with autism. How can these programs best succeed for the benefit of both candidates and organizations?
During this Keynote, Susanne Bruyère, Professor of Disability Studies and Academic Director of the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability at the Cornell University ILR School, will trace the opportunities and challenges encountered across the employment process in designing and implementing neurodiversity-affirmative hiring initiatives. Dr. Bruyère will address the importance of creating a workplace culture that embraces a diverse workforce, including those who are neurodivergent.
