Gain access to the event Event Overview
Negotiation at home and at work happens all the time; it shapes our lives. Yet not everyone has the ease or skills they need to negotiate effectively. In this event, we will explore the way that "negotiation roots" impact the approach to negotiation and how certain persistent biases held by others create additional constraints. The pathway through these challenges is to find an authentic negotiation voice and to begin the practice of advocating for oneself.
Join Professor Emeritus Deborah Streeter from Cornell’s Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management as she discusses practical skills, terminology, and tactics that can make you a master negotiator. Dr. Streeter has a wealth of experience in the negotiation space, and her research and interests focus on entrepreneurship and small business management.
