This pause has resulted in significant changes to energy use and carbon emissions. With lockdowns now being lifted, more and more businesses will reopen and we’ll all try to return to our normal social and travel activities.
But the climate crisis will still be waiting for us when the pandemic ends, and it’s our responsibility to ensure that economic recovery is done with the health of the planet in mind.
