According to Nikkei Asia, the Refinitiv CoreCommodity CRB Index was up 46% in January, exhibiting its highest annual increase since 1995. As dynamics of the pandemic continue to be uncertain and geopolitical conflicts arise, commodity markets have experienced volatility and their future states remain questionable.
Emerging market countries are contending with immense implications from skyrocketing commodity prices, and economies have taken different approaches in response to these changes. This webinar, hosted by the Emerging Markets Institute (EMI), will examine the potential effects of rising commodity prices on various emerging market countries.
