Initiatives centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) have gained traction across many industries. Most of these initiatives have centered on increasing understanding and awareness, but does that lead to systemic change?
During this Keynote session, Magda Yrizarry ’84, MRP ’03, will engage in a conversation with Angela Winfield, J.D. ’08, on the evolving nature of the workforce regarding DEI initiatives. Ms. Yrizarry will share her personal and professional experience that led to her becoming the Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at Verizon. She’ll also share what she believes will drive DEI systemic change as well as the role that each one of us can play in contributing to this change.
