This Keynote will explore care delivery and coordination, examining how hospitals, clinics, and community systems interact — as well as how they sometimes fail to do so. Professor Nick Fabrizio from the Cornell Brooks School of Public Policy will analyze where miscommunication, duplication of services, and gaps create barriers to effective patient care, showing how these challenges directly impact healthcare outcomes and access.
While the goal is seamless, patient-centered care, miscommunication and inefficiencies often get in the way. Professor Fabrizio will examine what works as well as what doesn't, and he’ll highlight innovations and tools that can strengthen connections across the healthcare continuum as we rethink how our system supports patients from start to finish.
