The COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult for all of us. It’s especially challenging for the parents of children who have health problems that make them extra-susceptible to infection. Such was the case for Dr. Gabrielle Page-Wilson, whose 8-year-old son has asthma. Combining her concerns as a parent with her knowledge as a doctor, she decided to take bold action. Joining forces with pediatrician Dr. Samira Brown and business executive Alexandra Stanton, she launched Little Lives PPE, a Black and woman-led company changing the personal protective equipment (PPE) landscape for American families and communities.
In this online event, Dr. Page-Wilson and Ms. Stanton will discuss what it was like to launch a PPE company during the pandemic and how the business and product lessons they learned can apply to any aspiring entrepreneur who is thinking about launching, managing, or scaling a business during this unprecedented time.
The Little Lives cofounders will also provide more information on their American-made products, what drove them to start their company, and how they advise both businesspeople and parents to continue to respond to the challenges of the pandemic.
