Andrea Ippolito is a Lecturer in the Engineering Management Program at Cornell University as well as the founder and Director of Women Entrepreneurs Cornell (W.E. Cornell). Additionally, Andrea is currently the CEO and Founder of SimpliFed, a company supporting every family on the baby feeding journey. Prior to joining Cornell, she served as the Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs Innovators Network within the VA Center for Innovation. Ms. Ippolito completed her M.S. in Engineering and Management at MIT. Prior to MIT, she worked as a research scientist within the Corporate Technology Development group at Boston Scientific. Ms. Ippolito obtained both her B.S. in Biological Engineering in 2006 and Master’s of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering in 2007 from Cornell University.

Speakers
Marla Leana Beyer is the chief executive officer and co-founder at Hopscotch, a pediatric behavioral health technology company. Prior to founding Hopscotch, she was a project manager on NIH-funded clinical trials at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, where she was responsible for study design, management of clinical trials, data analysis, and running assessments with caregivers and children. Ms. Beyer has also worked as a research analyst at the University at Buffalo’s Research Institute on Addictions, where she helped coordinate longitudinal studies examining the impact of prenatal substance abuse on child development. She holds a dual MBA-MHA from Cornell University’s Sloan Program of Health Administration and the Johnson Graduate School of Management. At Cornell, Ms. Beyer was president of the Johnson Healthcare Club and recipient of a prestigious Fried Fellowship.
Momo Bi is a Senior Director at New York Ventures, NY State’s early-stage venture capital fund. Her investment activities have been focused on digital healthcare, artificial intelligence, climate tech, and B2B Saas. During her time at NYV, she has invested along with top-tier private VCs and done board work as an observer with twelve companies such as Unite Us, BlocPower, and The Cru.
Prior to joining NYV, she worked with JP Morgan, Alumni Ventures Group, and has over ten years of experience as a revenue growth specialist to a wide range of companies from tech startups to Fortune 500 companies. Momo is also a co-founder of Cornell Women Founders & Funder, on the Advisory Council of Entrepreneurship of Cornell, and serves on the board of W.E. Cornell.
Momo holds an MBA from Cornell University/Cornell Tech and a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University.
