Speakers
Brad Greiwe is a co-founder and managing partner at Fifth Wall, where he guides the firm’s strategic vision. Prior to starting Fifth Wall, Mr. Greiwe co-founded Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH), a multibillion dollar owner and operator of single-family rental properties originally backed by The Blackstone Group. As CTO, he positioned Invitation Homes as the dominant technology-forward brand in the single-family rental category, developing a proprietary technology stack to support the valuation, acquisition, rehabilitation, leasing, and professional management of over 80,000 homes in 17 major markets, serving 120,000 residents across the U.S.
Mr. Greiwe started his career in investment banking at UBS in the real estate, lodging, and leisure group, where he tallied over $33 billion of M&A advisory work and $1 billion of debt and equity financing, including the sale of Hilton Hotels to The Blackstone Group for $26 billion — the largest hotel privatization in history. He then worked in real estate private equity at Tishman Speyer and Starwood Capital, where he executed over $30 billion of acquisitions, debt financing, and development projects. Originally from Cincinnati, Mr. Greiwe lives in San Francisco and graduated from Harvard University, where he received his B.A. in economics.
As CEO of North America for Willow, Kevin Danehy leads the strategic direction, growth, and management of regional operations. Throughout his career, he has cultivated, established, and led relationships with clients, as well as actively participated in transactional, leadership, and change management activities. Prior to joining Willow, Mr. Danehy served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Development for Brookfield, where he worked to accelerate revenue and asset value growth across the portfolio of assets under management in markets across the U.S. through various means, including direct transactions, M&A, JVs, and strategic alliances. Prior to joining Brookfield Properties, Mr. Danehy was with CBRE for nearly 30 years as Executive Vice President and Leader in the Americas of Transaction Management in the Occupier Services/Brokerage line of service.
Lucas Haldeman, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and founder of SmartRent, has spent the last two decades innovating and developing property management technology for the real estate industry. Prior to founding SmartRent in 2017, Mr. Haldeman served as the Chief Technology and Marketing Officer of Colony Starwood Homes (formerly NYSE:SFR and now part of Invitation Homes Inc. [NYSE:INVH]) from 2013 through 2016, where he and his team developed a platform that was instrumental in helping the business acquire, renovate, lease, and manage more than 30,000 single-family homes. He previously served as the Chief Information and Marketing Officer for Beazer (NYSE: BZH) Pre-Owned Rental Homes from 2012 through 2013 and was the founder and managing partner of Nexus Property Management from 2006 through 2012.
