Alexander Mirza is founder and CEO of Mogul Hotels & Residences, a venture-backed technology company whose purpose is to transform hospitality through artificial intelligence. He built hospitality’s first AI-driven talent marketplace and published the book Talent Disruption to share how AI can help solve the labor shortage and build human capital in service industries.
Mr. Mirza has 25 years of experience as a management consultant and head of corporate strategy and development at leading firms including Deloitte, Starwood Hotels, Hilton Worldwide, and Caesars Entertainment. As a management consultant, he has advised CEOs, heads of state, and international organizations. After consulting, Mr. Mirza joined the hospitality industry as head of Strategic Planning at Starwood Hotels. He subsequently moved into senior operating roles at Hilton Worldwide, overseeing corporate development and food and beverage, as well as launching the Waldorf Astoria brand and Caesars Entertainment, where he oversaw the non-gaming hospitality division.
Mr. Mirza has been named one of Canada’s Top 10 International Executives by Canadian Business and among the 100 most powerful executives by the Global Hospitality Institute. He has twice received the Mayor of Toronto’s Volunteer Creed for his work with new immigrants and inner-city youth.
