Chris Anderson is a professor at the Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration. Prior to his appointment in 2006, he was on the faculty at the Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario, Canada. Professor Anderson’s main research focus is on revenue management and service pricing. He actively works in the application and development of revenue management across numerous industry types, including hotels, airlines, and rental car and tour companies, as well as numerous consumer packaged goods and financial services firms. Professor Anderson’s research has been funded by numerous governmental agencies and industrial partners. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management and is the regional editor for the International Journal of Revenue Management. At the Nolan School of Hotel Administration, Professor Anderson teaches courses in revenue management and service operations management.
Don Uselmann serves as JetBlue Airways’ Vice President of Loyalty and Personalization. Don is responsible for evolving JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program, establishing JetBlue’s Customer relationship marketing (CRM) strategy and advancing the personalization of the JetBlue experience.
Don joined JetBlue in 2006 and has served in a variety of roles in sales, marketing, business development, Customer experience, and operations, most recently as Director Airport Operations at JFK, JetBlue’s single largest operation.
Over the years, he has been a leader in some of JetBlue’s highest-profile innovations, including the development of Even More products, the refresh of JetBlue’s Core experience and the creation of Mint, the design of self-tagging airport lobbies, and the launch of Fly-Fi broadband.
Jeff Katz is a recognized leader in the travel and e-commerce industries. As CEO of Journera, Jeff and his team have developed a secure, real-time data exchange for creating more seamless travel journeys. The Journera platform creates a complete view of the traveler’s journey in real time, enabling travel-related companies to deliver better experiences that drive loyalty and customer engagement. Journera’s customers include American Airlines, Hilton, InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott International, United Airlines, and Hyatt Hotels. Jeff’s lineage in travel runs deep. He was previously the founding Chairman and CEO of Orbitz, CEO of Swissair, and President of the global distribution system SABRE. He was named five times as one of Business Travel News’ Top 25 Travel Industry Leaders and was in the first class of inductees to BTN’s Travel Industry Hall of Fame in 2010. Jeff holds degrees from MIT, Stanford, and the University of California.
Mark Nasr, SHA ‘07, is Air Canada’s Senior Vice President for Products, Marketing, and eCommerce. In this role, he has oversight for the design of all Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, and Air Canada Express products, services, and amenities available to customers worldwide, as well as the presentation of the airline’s overall brand worldwide, including marketing communications and commercial sponsorships. Mr. Nasr has responsibility for the Aeroplan loyalty group, including its development, operations, and financial performance. His team also manages Air Canada’s channels, including third-party distribution and the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the airline’s digital channels and CRM. Mr. Nasr joined Air Canada in 2016 after working at Hilton, Marriott, IHG Properties, and Continental Airlines. He holds a patent for check-in and ID scanning and a patent application for airline seating systems.
