Based in Jakarta, Anne Patricia Sutanto is vice CEO of PT. Pan Brothers, Indonesia’s largest garment manufacturer, which supplies to numerous global brands and has approximately 34,000 employees across 25 factories in Java Island, Indonesia.
Born into a business family with interests in logging and the integrated wood industry, Ms. Sutanto joined PT. Pan Brothers Tbk in 1997. In 2015, she was featured as one of the most powerful women in Asia by Forbes Asia.
Ms. Sutanto is active in many industry organizations, including the Indonesian Textile Association, serving as its vice chairman of international relations and foreign trade. She is on the advisory board of the ILR School’s New Conversations Project, focused on sustainable labor practices in global supply chains.
Ms. Sutanto holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA specializing in finance from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Currently, she is studying for a Bachelor’s degree in law at the University of Indonesia.
