Bob Winter is director of hospitality and client executive for IMEG Corporation’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering (MEP) team, based in Pasadena, California. At IMEG, a full-service engineering design firm, Mr. Winter is responsible for leadership, client development, and strategic direction. His expertise includes complex renovations and large high-rise developments, as well as various other niche project types. Mr. Winter is experienced in facility assessments, due diligence studies, system concept design development and reviews, and quality control. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and registered Energy Professional with the City of Chicago, with more than 30 years of experience. Mr. Winter is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and CoreNet, the global association for corporate real estate. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University and an MBA in Management from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Lisa Chervinsky is a lecturer in property development and management at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA), where she teaches courses in hotel development, planning, and design. As a licensed architect and SHA alumna, Ms. Chervinsky guides students using an interdisciplinary approach. With her in-depth understanding of the business of hospitality, building expertise, and creative vision, she seeks to inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals and provide them with the skills to succeed in this highly competitive field. Over the course of a career spanning more than 25 years, Ms. Chervinsky has developed iconic and award-winning hospitality spaces for branded and boutique operators in the U.S. and abroad. She is founder/principal of Collective Vision Design, Ltd., a firm whose collaborative business model joins together experienced professionals from multiple disciplines in flexible teams, providing high-quality hospitality design with reduced overhead. Ms. Chervinsky earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell’s SHA and a Master in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has mentored countless young designers and is an active member of the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality and the American Institute of Architects.
Shane O’Flaherty is the Global Director of Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality for Microsoft, focused on leading the hotel, airline, cruise, and logistics industries in driving innovation that will enhance the customer and employee journey while fostering increased productivity and cost compression with the use of Microsoft’s technology and its ecosystem of travel solution partners. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. O’Flaherty held many senior executive positions, including CEO and President at Forbes Travel Guide (formerly Mobil Travel Guide). At Forbes Travel Guide, he successfully modernized the hotel, restaurant, and spa five-star ratings system that defines the global consumer experience and spearheaded its global expansion around the world. In addition, Mr. O’Flaherty created and grew Forbes Travel Guide Consulting Services into the leading global provider of customer experience measurement and training for the top hospitality brands in the world. He has spoken at many industry and client conferences around the globe and appeared on the Today Show, Fox & Friends, Bloomberg, Channel NewsAsia. He has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, and many other publications.
Tyler Lavin has 17 years of experience working in various aspects of hospitality and real estate, including five years at Dutch hotel startup citizenM. Prior to citizenM, he spent roughly four years working in the Real Estate Advisory Group at PwC in Philadelphia and three years working in Development at Denihan Hospitality in New York. Mr. Lavin’s most recent work includes the expansion of citizenM to key markets in North America.
