Speakers
Christina M. Coleman is co-founder of ScriptLink and a participant in the 2022 Johnson Summer Startup Accelerator. Prior to her current role as a data project manager at Netflix, Ms. Coleman held positions at the NFL and MTV, and worked on a series of live production events including the Tony Awards. She is a member of the Hollywood Professional Association’s Young Entertainment Professionals (‘21), a Television Academy Foundation Program alumnae, and an inaugural mentee in Netflix’s Studio Product Innovation’s Product Mentorship program. Ms. Coleman attended Emerson College for her Bachelor’s in Producing for Film & Television, Stockton University for her Bachelor’s in Communications with an emphasis in Business Studies, and Drexel University for an M.S. in Television Management, and she is currently a member of the New York City Boardroom through Cornell’s EMBA Americas program ‘23.
Dr. Linda Alvarez is the co-founder and CEO of Levelle, a sports nutrition products startup tailored to female athletes based on scientific research. Levelle envisions a world where female athletes no longer need to compromise on nutrition for the sake of performance. Dr. Alvarez received her M.D. in 2015 and completed her family medicine residency in 2018. In 2020, the International Forum on Healthcare Advancements recognized her as one of the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders. Levelle was the winner of the 2020 Cornell University Metro NY Shark Tank competition. Dr. Alvarez and Levelle co-founder Stephanie Schruath completed their executive MBAs in 2021.
Marla Leana Beyer is the chief executive officer and co-founder at Hopscotch, a pediatric behavioral health technology company. Prior to founding Hopscotch, she was a project manager on NIH-funded clinical trials at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, where she was responsible for study design, management of clinical trials, data analysis, and running assessments with caregivers and children. Ms. Beyer has also worked as a research analyst at the University at Buffalo’s Research Institute on Addictions, where she helped coordinate longitudinal studies examining the impact of prenatal substance abuse on child development. She holds a dual MBA-MHA from Cornell University’s Sloan Program of Health Administration and the Johnson Graduate School of Management. At Cornell, Ms. Beyer was president of the Johnson Healthcare Club and recipient of a prestigious Fried Fellowship.
Pablo Borquez Schwarzbeck is co-founder and chief executive officer of ProducePay, a new financing technology solution designed for fresh produce growers to gain immediate access to liquidity for enhanced cash flow. Mr. Schwarzbeck is the fourth generation involved in his family’s farming business in Mexico, Campos Borquez, a leading organic produce grower and distributor. He founded ProducePay in 2015 after earning his MBA in Managerial Finance from the Cornell SC Johnson Graduate School of Business.
