Sean Nicholson is a professor in the Economics Department and Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University, the director of the Sloan Program in Health Administration, and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Prior to joining Cornell in 2004, Professor Nicholson was a faculty member in the Health Care Systems Department at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He worked for four years as a management consultant with APM and taught high school for two years before enrolling in graduate school. Professor Nicholson received a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1986 and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997.
Wyatt Gotbetter is a seasoned life sciences executive and strategy consulting leader experienced in asset and franchise growth strategy and mergers and acquisitions/ transaction advisory support. He received his B.S. in Policy Analysis from Cornell University, as well as his MPA degree and Sloan Certificate focusing on health policy. Mr. Gotbetter has served as an Executive-in-Residence and speaker for Sloan and Brooks courses.
Mr. Gotbetter currently leads the Market Access and Health Economics business for global CRO Parexel, where he was previously a partner for consulting subsidiary Health Advances. Prior to this, he was with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the head of New Product Commercialization for Biogen, and he led reimbursement for U.S. commercial payers for medtech leader Boston Scientific. Mr. Gotbetter has led domestic and global teams in marketing strategy, portfolio management, new product commercialization, and market access. He offers expertise in strategy development, life cycle management, valuation, diligence, and digital health, and he has advised or supported integration of more than $40B in life sciences transactions. Mr. Gotbetter is also an independent board member of Diceros Therapeutics.
