How we view ourselves and others impacts how effectively we communicate and work with people of different ages, backgrounds, and cultures. In addition, different management styles and structures impact satisfaction in the workplace. In this session, we will explore how to effectively understand and recognize the different needs of today’s workforce.

The importance of establishing communication norms in the workplace is a key step in unifying workers as a team and moving toward a shared vision for the organization. During this event, featuring Nick Fabrizio, Senior Lecturer in Cornell’s Sloan Program in Health Administration, we will explore the barriers to effective communication, how decision making impacts satisfaction, and how to effectively deal with organizational change.
