Emily Weiss leads Accenture’s Global Travel Industry practice, where she guides practice strategy and helps hospitality, aviation, and travel services clients reinvent their businesses to become more agile, connected, and competitive. She has more than 25 years of experience consulting with clients across the travel, hotels and leisure, media and entertainment, and consumer goods sectors. Ms. Weiss is recognized for her CRM expertise, ability to launch new products and services, and understanding of how the workforce contributes to the customer experience. She has helped clients harness technologies like AI, XR, and analytics to drive intelligent operations; equip responsive workforces; enable real-time, personalized client experiences; and design and deliver transformative solutions. Ms. Weiss also is passionate about leading and mentoring at all levels, believing it’s important to learn from those on the front lines while also exploring the edge of innovation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Spanish from Lafayette College.

Hannah DeMaio is vice president of brand strategy for Women Leading Travel & Hospitality, the sister community of the Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC). Heeyon Kim is assistant professor of strategy at the Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration and a management and organization area faculty member in the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. Prior to her appointment in 2018, she was on the faculty at NUS Business School at the National University of Singapore. Professor Kim’s research bridges strategy, organizational theory, and international business and explores how social evaluations of firms — such as social status, reputation, and market identity — affect their behavior and performance. She particularly focuses on creative industries including film, fashion, and music, but has also examined other contexts involving international expansion of firms. Professor Kim’s work has been published in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal and Organization Science, as well as by Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press. She holds a Ph.D. in Strategy from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Jamie Cohen is chief financial officer at Vacasa, North America’s leading vacation rental management platform. As a member of Vacasa’s executive leadership team, she is responsible for the accounting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury functions. With both marketplace and public company experience, Ms. Cohen oversaw several corporate milestones in her first year with Vacasa, including the company’s acquisition of TurnKey Vacation Rentals and public listing on NASDAQ. Prior to joining Vacasa in 2021, she worked for nearly a decade at ANGI Homeservices, where, as CFO, she helped lead the reverse merger of HomeAdvisor with Angie’s List as well as the simultaneous public offering of the joint company. Ms. Cohen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Business, Economics, and Marketing from Wake Forest University.
