Georgia Maloney is the Environmental Social, and Governance (ESG) Reporting Lead for Marsh McLennan. In this role, she is responsible for collecting all ESG data and information across the company, creating the company’s annual ESG report, and responding to all other ESG inquiries, including third-party ratings surveys, prospective clients, and investors. 

Prior to joining Marsh McLennan in 2016, Ms. Maloney was Associate Director of New Media and Marketing for City Parks Foundation (CPF), where she created the organization’s digital media strategy and integrated communications across all digital platforms and CPF programs, broadening the presence and impact of the organization in the community. She is the chair of the Board of Directors of City Growers, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit agricultural education organization. Ms. Maloney earned a B.S. in Communication from Cornell University and an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management with concentrations in Sustainability and Leadership and Ethics.

John Kim serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Impact at 1Row, a brand strategy and marketing firm helping to scale up purpose-driven ventures. Prior to that, he spent 10 years in corporate social responsibility and environment/social/governance roles at The Walt Disney Company and Herman Miller. Before that, Mr. Kim worked at Lipman Hearne, a branding and marketing agency focused on the nonprofit sector, supporting higher education institutions, large foundations, and member associations. 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kim served in the United States Peace Corps; worked on food insecurity impacting communities in the Washington, D.C., area and South Africa; and evaluated programs for the United Nations World Food Programme in Malawi. He is also the creator of the blog “Virtuous Cycle,” which highlights changemakers using bikes to do good. Mr. Kim received his Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University and his Bachelor’s from Cornell University. He lives with his family in Montpelier, VT.

Martie Curran has been a Sustainability Analyst at Nestlé Waters North America since 2015. In that time, she’s worked on nearly every aspect of the company’s sustainability strategy, from recycling to reporting. As the team and program have grown, Ms. Curran has focused on measuring environmental performance and driving environmental change through partnerships, both internal and external. She earned a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University, with a focus on Energy, Environmental, and Resource Economics.

Monica Touesnard is the Executive Director of the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise at the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University. She is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, launching, and championing new programmatic enhancements for the Center as well as managing and cultivating existing ones.

As Executive Director, Monica fills numerous roles, including the execution of the Center’s communications strategy and career coaching, advising current and prospective Cornell students interested in careers at the intersection of business, environmental, and social issues. She also fosters and maintains collaborative relationships domestically and internationally with companies, nonprofits, alumni, entrepreneurs, executives, academic institutions, and others. Monica manages projects with various organizations, including companies and NGOs, focused on enterprise development in low-income communities.

Prior to her current position, Monica was the founding Executive Director for the Center for Sustainable Enterprise at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. She has additional experience in project management, speaking, and consulting, both locally and internationally. Monica is
regularly invited to review social entrepreneurship proposals such as Echoing Green’s Fellowship Program or sustainability grants such as the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future’s Academic Venture Fund.

Monica earned her MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with focus on Sustainable Enterprise and has a B.A. from McGill University in Canada.
