Since its launch in 2018, the Cornell First Amendment Clinic has grown into one of the largest and most impactful clinics of its kind in the country. The Clinic focuses on two major streams of cases, both essential to strengthening democracy at national and local levels: high-impact free speech litigation and the work of its innovative Local Journalism Project as it defends and enables a vibrant independent press.
