About Daniel Kellner
Dr. Daniel Kellner is a board-certified anesthesiologist who practices in the Finger Lakes region of New York. He serves as the discipline leader for Pharmacology in the foundational curriculum at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he is also co‑director of the Principles of Pharmacology unit. He graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2017 and was inducted into the Cornell chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his internship and residency at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he graduated with distinction in education.
Dr. Kellner has received several awards for his work in medical education, including the Joseph M. Garfield Medical Student Teacher of the Year Award (Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Department of Anesthesiology), the First Year Teaching Award (Weill Cornell Medicine), and an Excellence in Medical Education Award (Weill Cornell Medicine).
Prior to his career in medicine, he spent nine years as a public school teacher and assistant principal in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a second Master’s Degree in Education Leadership from the College of St. Rose.
