Chris Mazzei

Chris Mazzei is a global business leader with a proven track record for strategy and corporate development, innovation, operational P&L responsibilities, and data analytics.
As a senior leader at Ernst & Young LLP (EY), a $50B+ organization operating in 150 countries, Chris has a legacy of creating enterprise value through building and standing up successful businesses; leading growth strategy; developing and overseeing plans for complex business and digital transformations; and providing strategic, practical business advice on emerging technologies. Chris held roles at EY that included:
Chief Strategy Officer: Reported to EY’s global CEO and board to advise on enterprise and business unit level strategy and execution matters. In this role, Chris also led the market intelligence function focused on identifying key competitive, market, economic, technology, regulatory and other trends.
Chief Data and Analytics Officer: Early pioneer of building a new consulting business that grew to over 7,000 professionals, including through 15+ acquisitions. In this role, Chris also worked with all EY’s businesses to embed AI in the delivery of many of EY’s core services such as audit, tax, transaction diligence and risk.
Global Innovation Technology Leader: Responsible for identifying and capturing new market opportunities and mitigating disruptive risk with emerging technology including AI, blockchain and robotics process automation.

Chris now serves on several boards of data and AI businesses, and advises several PE firms on their investment thesis in particular sectors and firms.
