Alasdair Share

Alasdair joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 and currently serves as the company’s Chief Security Officer, responsible for management of GS’s security, crisis management programs and geopolitical risk assessment.

From 2008 to 2020 he was the Regional Security Director for Asia Pacific, leading a team responsible for delivery of security and safety services, crisis management planning and testing (including co-chairing the region’s business continuity planning committee), preparation of regional threat assessments and delivery of client briefs on geopolitical security and stability issues. Between 2006 and 2008 Alasdair was the Regional Security Director EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked for the British Government’s Ministry of Defence from 1989 to 2006.
