Maryland Resident Students – Drop/Transfer Policy
eCornell Refund Policy for Maryland Students:
If you are enrolled in an eCornell online certificate program you may cancel enrollment and receive a full refund if said request is received within 30 days of registration. If you withdraw or are terminated after completing only a portion of a certificate program, you will receive reimbursement as stated below. Refunds will be processed within 30 days. To request a refund please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

eCornell Retake Policy:
- For any program not completed, if you wish to retake one or more courses within your certificate program, there will be a retake fee of $75 per course.* To request a retake, please contact email@example.com.
*Please note: other programs, including, but not limited to, Executive Presence, may have higher fees.
Transfer – If you initiate the process no later than 5 pm ET of the Friday after course begins (Day 3), you may request to transfer to a different start date.
- Log in to your eCornell “Student Portal.”
- Click on the “Enrollment History” link.
- Under “Current Courses” click the “Change Section” link next to the appropriate course title. If you do not see an option to “Change Section” or if you have any difficulty, please contact the Student Support team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
*Please note this policy does not apply to the PHR Prep Certificate.
