Jon Richter

Jon Richter is Chief Sustainability Officer at MetLife, leading efforts to ensure that sustainability is integrated into how MetLife operates and achieves its business goals. In this role, Mr. Richter oversees the development and execution of global sustainability strategy, including identifying ESG opportunities and gaps, establishing meaningful sustainability/ESG commitments, leading climate-related initiatives, and reporting progress across all sustainability/ESG efforts.

Mr. Richter has nearly 25 years of experience working at Fortune 50 companies across the financial services, pharmaceutical, and consumer products sectors. He has expertise in sustainability/ESG, communications, corporate reputation, and market analytics.
