Daniel Armanios

Daniel Armanios is the BT Professor and Chair of Major Programme Management at Saïd Business School as well as a Professorial Fellow of St. Anne’s College. He also holds a courtesy appointment with the Department of Engineering Science. Dr. Armanios is a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Leadership at Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University. He was previously an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. 

Dr. Armanios holds Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.) and Political Science (B.A., with an Economics minor), where he was a Goldwater and Truman Scholar. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford in Management Research and in Water Science, Policy, and Management (M.Sc.), where he was a Rhodes Scholar. Dr. Armanios holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Management Science and Engineering, where he was a joint National Science Foundation and Stanford Benchmark Graduate Research Fellow.
