The 2024 Durland lecture, in support of Cornell University’s Freedom of Expression theme year, presents a substantive conversation between SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce and SC Johnson College dean Andrew Karolyi on issues relevant to the world of finance and market regulation, including some on which they don’t agree.
Cornell President Martha Pollack will introduce the event. Time will be allocated for questions and perspectives from the audience.
Established in memory of Lewis H. Durland, who served as Cornell University’s Chief Financial Officer for over 25 years.
