As the corporate landscape continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, in-house lawyers and board members face increasingly complex business, regulatory, and geopolitical challenges. Join us for an hour-long “fireside chat” between faculty members LizAnn Eisen and Charles Whitehead. Prior to entering academia, Chuck held senior legal and business positions at several large financial services firms, including Nomura Securities International and Citigroup. His current research focuses on securities regulation, including crypto, and corporate governance.
This program is the second in a series leading up to eCornell’s executive education certificate program in March. For more details, see the 2025 Board of Directors Forum.
Professors Eisen and Whitehead will discuss the current state of crypto regulation, lessons he has learned over the years, including ways to successfully work as an in-house legal practitioner, how to approach regulatory issues from both a compliant and practical manner, and how to prepare for unexpected events like regulatory inquiries, and managing relationships with the senior leadership team including the CEO and the board. This discussion will help attendees elevate their skills in their role and make their organizations more efficient and effective.
