In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, much of our daily lives now occurs online. This transition has forced teams to pivot from holding in-person events and meetings to running virtual versions via the internet. We all know that virtual experiences are different, but are there ways to ensure they are as effective, if not more effective, than physical events? What are the key contrasts between hosting an event online and in person? When does it make sense to produce an event live versus streaming it pre-recorded? What are best practices?
