Dr. Jennifer Cross

Dr. Jennifer Cross is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Pediatrics and Section Chief of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics within the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is board certified in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and has been a practicing in the field for 25 years. She is actively involved in resident teaching and has served as the Director of the Early Intervention Program at NY Presbyterian Hospital in New York. In that role she supervised a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, speech, occupational and physical therapists as they performed many hundreds of multidisciplinary evaluations of infants and young children with developmental delays for the New York State Early Intervention Program.

Dr. Cross has lectured extensively on topics in developmental and behavioral pediatrics including during the pediatric medical student rotation at Weill Cornell and as an invited lecturer at area teaching hospitals including participating as a lecturer for the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program. Research interests include early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders and improving behavioral management of children with disabilities in the hospital setting.
