eCornell is part of the Provost’s Office of External Education, focused on developing innovative educational experiences to nontraditional students around the world.  

eCornell’s mission is to extend the reach of Cornell University to nontraditional students across the globe. We focus on designing effective, high-impact, and innovative programs that transform both careers and lives.

As part of the Provost’s Office, we support the entire University and have worked with over 150 faculty members across Cornell’s colleges and schools. eCornell is provided with direction and strategy from the eCornell Advisory Board. We also work with an External Education Strategy Council, which includes representation from each of Cornell’s academic units to promote coordination and integration across the University.
