How To Request Enrollment
For Tuition Assistance (Letter of Credit)
- Review the eCornell online certificate programs based on your specific needs and skills you’ll need to enhance or develop.
- Complete your application for tuition assistance on EdAssist’s platform.
- Access this spreadsheet to insert the certificate code, title, and price to complete your EdAssist application.
- The certificate start date is the start date of the first course in the program
- Programs that contain 2-week courses: the certificate end date is 13 days after the start date for the last course in your program
- Programs that contain 3-week courses: the certificate end date is 20 days after the start date for the last course in your program
- Select the course start dates that work best for you. eCornell courses have set start and end dates, and you can complete your course anytime during that time frame, as you’re not required to be online at any given time.
- You will be required to select all your course start dates upon enrollment request.
- Select a different start date for each course in the program.
- Expect to spend around 5 hours PER week on your course content.
- Click that you acknowledge the instructions and have your Letter of Credit issued by EdAssist.
- Click the “Request Access” button and follow the instructions on the next page by submitting your name and work email address.
- Please Note: You must email your Letter Of Credit to eCornell’s enrollment team at ec_corp_individual_enrollment@cornell.edu the same day of requesting your certificate.
- Once this is completed, our team will be notified of your request, confirm your information, and enroll you into the certificate within 3-5 business days.

Once you are enrolled successfully, you will receive your login credentials (username + password) and an enrollment confirmation that contains your course name, start date, and information on how to start your course.

Prior to enrollment, please make sure to review the eCornell DROP/TRANSFER/RETAKE Policy here (under Organizational Partner Drop/Transfer Policy) and consult with your EdAssist benefit specialist at your organization to understand the policy-related requirements set by your company.
