Welcome
At the Scranton Area Community Foundation our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all people in Northeastern Pennsylvania through the development of organized philanthropy. Over the years, millions of dollars in grants have been made to assist the educational, human service, environmental, civic, and arts & cultural organizations in our area. As the Foundation’s endowment continues to grow, so does the impact to our community’s most immediate needs!
The Scranton Area Community Foundation proudly leads various initiatives including Women in Philanthropy, the Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence, NEPA Moves, and the NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative.
The Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence serves the capacity-building needs of nonprofit organizations in Northeastern Pennsylvania to help them meet their critical missions more effectively and to improve their impact throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
This partnership with eCornell is the newest effort to help build capacity and skills for our current and emerging nonprofit leaders. Welcome to the special portal that has been created to review courses available through this partnership Center for Community Leadership Nonprofit Excellence and eCornell partnership.
