As a token of our appreciation and to demonstrate pride in our products and services, the below Benefit and Eligibility Information summarizes a professional development benefit of taking eCornell courses and certificates at a reduced cost–for eCornell family members. The aim of this benefit is to encourage a culture of professional development and lifelong learning by sharing it with family. 

A family member is a spouse, domestic partner, child, stepchild, sibling, parent, stepparent, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in law, nephew, niece, step-niece, or step-nephew.

Family members of current employees may enroll in unlimited standard courses for $100 per course.

  • Some partner program courses are excluded from this benefit.

  • Standard completion policies apply for all.

  • Standard retake policies and fees apply for Family benefits.

    • LAW581: Financial Institutions and Regulations: $200 (6 week course)
    • CAS501: Executive Presence: $700 (15 week course)
    • CEEM500: Probability Analysis: $700 (15 week course)
    • MAE120: Spaceflight Mechanics: $800 (16 week course)
    • CTECH001SYN: Generative AI for Business Transformation: $500 (5 week live courses)
    • Others as they become available

    During the enrollment process, please be prepared to provide the eCornell staff member’s name, NetID, and department they work in.
