Dr. Amy Miele is an Associate Dean of Students and Director for Student Affairs Compliance & Title IX at Rutgers University – New Brunswick, and she serves as the Title IX Coordinator for students. In these roles, Dr. Miele oversees the campus’s response to all reports of sexual violence, stalking, and relationship violence involving Rutgers students and regularly serves as a resource to the university community on Title IX-related issues. She also oversees restorative justice initiatives within Student Affairs. Prior to joining the Office of Student Affairs Compliance, Dr. Miele worked in the Office of Student Conduct at Rutgers University – New Brunswick. She has also worked within Student Affairs at Rowan University and Rider University. Dr. Miele received her M.A. in Criminal Justice from Rowan University and her Ph.D. in Higher Education from Rutgers University.

Dr. Julie Shackford-Bradley is the co-founder and Director of the Restorative Justice Center at UC Berkeley. She has 15 years of experience teaching in Global Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies, with a research focus on traditional and community-based justice in Kenya and Uganda, as well as at intersections of restorative justice (RJ), human rights, and social change around the world. Dr. Shackford-Bradley is teaching a course on RJ in the U.S., which links students with community partnerships with Bay Area RJ organizations, and is designing a new course on Truth and Reconciliation that will invite students to research historical harms of the Berkeley campus and Bay Area. In her work with the RJ Center, Dr. Shackford-Bradley designs and facilitates services, programs, and training in RJ, restorative practices, and related areas, such as racial healing and conflict transformation, and collaborates with partners to construct policies that offer restorative responses for workplace harms, conduct violations, and sexual harm.
Perdita Das-Humphrey (she/her) is the Assistant Dean of Hans Bethe House at Cornell University. She grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and immigrated to the U.S. Ms. Das-Humphrey joined Cornell as the Residence Hall Director of Balch Hall in 2017, where she also advised and coordinated the CORE RA program, which focuses on sexual violence prevention education within residential communities. Her passion lies in building inclusive environments, helping students develop as socially just leaders, and creating spaces for continuous dialogue and growth across differences. In addition to her role in Bethe House, Ms. Das-Humphrey also serves as a confidential victim advocate with the Skorton Center for Health Initiatives and as co-chair of the Women of Color Colleague Network Group.
