Devry Boughner Vorwerk is Founder and CEO of DevryBV Sustainable Strategies, a company whose purpose is to inspire business to courageously serve humanity.
Ms. Vorwerk believes that in a world where geopolitical volatility, climate change, population growth, inequality, and societal expectations are placing immense pressure on traditional business models, companies can succeed in balancing shareholder and stakeholder expectations. At her core, Ms. Vorwerk supports open markets as a means for creating economic opportunity for all.
In the first part of 2021, Ms. Vorwerk served as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Grubhub. She also had a nearly 15-year career at Cargill, a Fortune 50 global food company, where she served as Chief Communications Officer and Corporate VP of Global Corporate Affairs. Ms. Vorwerk spent time as a senior policy advisor at Akin Gump and worked as Chief Economist for the Chairwoman of the USITC and as a Senior Economist in ag affairs at USTR.
Erik Weenink is the Director of Pricing and Promotion at Giant Food. In this role, he is responsible for leading the development and delivery of pricing strategy across all categories, providing business insights and analyses in support of category business strategies, and reporting on market share. Prior to joining the team at Giant Food, he held leadership positions at Ahold USA, Harsco Corporation, and Procter & Gamble. Throughout his career, Mr. Weenink has implemented continuous lean improvements in global and multi-regional manufacturing environments, leading to significant gains in efficiency, growth, and profitability.
Janelle Meyers has more than 20 years of experience enhancing the economic, environmental, and social performance of global value chains, products, and services.
Ms. Meyers joined the Kellogg Company in February 2016. Prior to becoming the Chief Sustainability Officer in December 2021, she held several roles in Global Procurement, including leading Kellogg’s Global Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Diversity, and Responsible Sourcing programs.
Before joining Kellogg, Ms. Meyers spent 11 years with Walmart in Merchandising and the Corporate Sustainability team as well as five years at General Motors in International Finance and Brand Management.
Born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, Ms. Meyers and her husband Eric reside in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and have two children.
